New York Times Editorial Almost Gets the Job Done
This editorial in today's (Sat. 10/4) NYT seemed like it was really going to stay on the mark:
"There is always a chance that there really are some unconventional weapons tucked away somewhere. President Bush's job approval ratings, now plummeting in the polls, may depend in part on whether any weapons are ultimately found."
But then, some cowardly editor came in to assuage the feelings of the chimp_junta with this CYA:
"More important, the nation needs to know whether its intelligence was way off the mark, making any further attempts at pre-emptive war problematic."
I seem to remember all of the experts in agreement: There were no gliders ready to fly all the way from Baghdad to drop gas bombs on NYC, there was no "regenerated nuclear program" (junta's_cheney), they didn't know "exactly where they were, between Baghdad and Tikrit" (junta's_Rumsfeld).
But all of those experts were FIRED to enable chimp_junta to find, or make, its own experts out of thin air. We all know that happened. This is no secret. We don't need the Old Dead Gray Lady covering up the facts. The corrupt, lying, sneaky Chimp_junta was going to WAR...PERIOD.
If Paul Wellstone was in the Senate do you think it would have happened?
This is the single most corrupt, demonic, disorganized and murderous bunch of war criminals the world has seen since Adolph Hitler and his cabal of pre-emtive killers.
A criminal indictment against bush, cheney, rumsfeld, rove, powell, rice, delay, Gen. Franks, et al, is in the works. WAR CRIMINALS such as these fuckers should be chained together, wearing orange jumpsuits, and frog-walked out of the Nation's highest offices.
If found guilty of CRIMES AGAINST THE PEACE they should be lined up against a wall and face a firing squad. It could be an HBO special, with the highest bidders getting a shot at whomever they wanted! No question, they deserve what they get.
They care nothing about the lives of our Armed Forces people sent over there to die. They care nothing about the thousands of innocents killed and maimed--with Rumsfeld proudly advertising his SHOCK AND AWE, like it belonged to him and not to
"WE THE PEOPLE."
And now, just for the spite and vindictiveness of it, they have 'outed' one of our own CIA operatives who was, as the CIA has stated, under cover. Her life is ruined. Her career is in tatters. The networks she has taken a lifetime to create, entrusted with real, honest homeland security missions, are in great danger.
Just for spite. This is chimp_junta warning the others what will happen to you if you tell the truth to power.
Treason, high crimes and misdemeanors.
These words in our Constitution, which this unelected chimp_junta has treated like a dish rag...these words describe the actions of these Mayberry Machiavellis perfectly.
Who can dispute that?
When will the trials begin? When will the cons, neo cons, gopper congressmen who screamed for the hide of our last elected President--Henry (womanizer) Hyde, Orrin Hatch, Chief HR Investigator Dan Burton...All these slimy retards wanted was constant antagonization of Bill Clinton. For what: A failed land deal which morphed into Starr's filty accusations involving consensual sex?
Folks, we have an assembly of killers in our highest offices. War criminals, profiteers--with their hand out every day for another 600 million (sounds like less than ANOTHER HALF A BILLION) dollars. Bush is used to holding his hand out and getting filled up with cash. He's done it all his life. Other People's Money have made him the single most unqualified, undignified, petulant, cruel and idiotic squatter the Nation has ever suffered in the White House.
Just pray that Dr. Dean beats the shit out of the little bastard in 13 months. Pray, and organize, and make sure you take three friends to the polls next November.
