CNN Believes Other News Agencies Should LIE LIE LIE Like CNN Does
Dear Editor,
I watched with disgust as an assemblage of American military officials, and CNN, attacked the wrong enemy, the press represented by the Arabic agency al Jazeera. I saw reporter Daryn Kagan on CNN actually promote the propaganda of the USA that “these guys (al Jazeera reporters) always seem to be there when a kidnapping takes place” during an interview with the editor in chief of al Jazeera.
Perhaps because all the other reporters have already been shot and killed by the invading army and marines, looking for those WMD? Maybe when Ms. Kagan turns into a real reporter and is sent to a Bush-war zone and watches real reporters getting killed, it will wipe that silly grin off her face.
Attacking the wrong enemy is becoming commonplace for these Generals, but attacking any press representatives is cowardly. Just like padlocking the newspaper in Iraq—an action that created all the latest enmity for these “Generals.” We find out today that these generals have killed over 650 innocents in Fallujah. About the amount of Americans that have died in Iraq, according to the propaganda released by embedded reporters of the official Washington cheerleading chorus.
They will not win the hearts and minds of the people in that country by taking away what little freedom they have delivered to them. It seems clear that these Generals have no idea what they are doing…they can’t see the forest for the trees.
As a well known voice in the media, please deliver a message to the US Military: stop killing journalists. Stop supporting puppet millionaires posing as the Iraqi “Governing” body. Stop telling press lap dogs you are honoring a cease-fire, or engaging hostile insurgents, when live al Jazeera shows US aircraft and helicopters killing women and children in real time.
STOP LYING. STOP EXPECTING THE US LAPDOG PRESS TO CARRY YOUR LYING MESSAGES.
