Some time ago I inquired into the status of your interest in running for the Presidency in 2004.

You sent me information, followed by an email asking for opinion on the support you could expect from me, or individuals with the same progressive interests.

I had to wait a while for ideas and party politics to settle down. Now I can offer you an opinion:

PLEASE DO NOT RUN FOR PRESIDENCY, OR SINCE YOU HAVE DECLARED THAT INTENTION, PLEASE DROP OUT.

WE CAN'T HAVE ANOTHER FOUR YEARS OF GEORGE W. BUSH.

It has become very clear in the months since that disasterous turn of events that, although (R)'s and (D)'s suck up to the same trough, there is a tragic difference between them. That difference is represented in every way by the neo-con maniacs in the White House at this time. I personally believe that he would never have made it there without your campaign in the year 2000.

Please, do not guarantee Bush another 4 years.
