Right Wing Crazies Decide To Censor Cinema Viewers and Shut Down "FAHRENHEIT 9/11"

Immediate Phone and Email/Fax "Thank You" Campaign Needed!!

STOP THE RIGHT FROM STOPPING FAHRENHEIT 9/11

A right-wing website labelling Michael Moore a "domestic enemy" is rallying conservative activists to stop Michael Moore's new movie. The site's authors write:

why on earth are ANY movie theaters showing this film? “Fahrenheit 9/11” should be shown as a recruiting video for Al-Qaeda, not in our movie theaters.

...then they print contact information for movie theater executives, and call for a full-scale pressure campaign to intimidate them into dropping the film:

We need these executives to be overwhelmed with letters, phone calls and FAXes... in addition to emails. Sending an email alone is not enough – since in some cases an aide can easily click “DELETE.”

The movie is not only thrilling, it's important. Check out the trailer. And then take action to counter the right-wing pressure campaign. Go to the right-wing site and send messages to movie executives registering your support for Fahrenheit 9/11. If we let the reactionaries go unanswered, it could limit the film's message and impact. But if Fahrenheit 9/11 is widely distributed and becomes a hit, that could open the floodgates for other progressive documentaries to gain wide national distribution: movies like The Corporation, Control Room, and The Hunting of the President. And that could have a huge, huge impact on the future of the country.
