Nasty Letters To Crooked Politicians

As we enter a new era of politics, we hope to see that Obama has the courage to fight the policies that Progressives hate. Will he have the fortitude to turn the economic future of America to help the working man? Or will he turn out to be just a pawn of big money, as he seems to be right now.

Zogby Explains The Media Confusion About "Double Digit Leads"

Zogby Sound Bites!:

"No doubt, half the nation is walking around scratching their heads trying to figure out what is going on with the polls. How is it that TIME and Newsweek have Bush up by 11 points, CNN-USA Today-Gallup have him up by 7 and nearly everyone else like Rasmussen, American Research Group and Zogby show a 2-5 point race?

First, it is possible that both TIME and Newsweek were caught in the dreaded weekend polling trap. Many families prior to Labor Day slip off for one last hurrah, before the kids go back to school. This absence tends to skew a poll. Second, there data may have been confounded by including too many Republicans in their samples, as The Los Angeles Times had done with Democrats earlier this year.

Personally, I prefer to have a little more fun with the issue. I mean, the media's ineptitude of late is deserving of a little teasing and scab picking. Let me emphasize this is just for fun, and only the two outlets involved can answer this for certain. Who knows, maybe my little poke in their polling eye might cause them to try and figure out how their data became so flawed? "

(In November of 2000, the Zogby poll was the ONLY one to call the popular vote for Winner Al Gore by slightly less than a million votes. He also said that Florida had veered to Gore, but was still too close to call.

Phony Gallup, which seems to call its own employees every week, said Bush would lead by some 4 million votes, an error of 4,500,000 votes. Remember, Gallup sucks. *aj*)
