Did senior Bush officials blow the cover of a US intelligence officer working covertly in a field of vital importance to national security--and break the law--in order to strike at a Bush administration critic and intimidate others?
It sure looks that way, if conservative journalist Bob Novak can be trusted.
In a recent column on Nigergate, Novak examined the role of former Ambassador Joseph Wilson IV in the affair. Two weeks ago, Wilson went public, writing in The New York Times and telling The Washington Post about the trip he took to Niger in February 2002--at the request of the CIA--to check out allegations that Saddam Hussein had tried to purchase uranium for a nuclear weapons program from Niger.

Gangster mentality: Bush junta has placed the life of one of our intelligence agents at risk--perhaps ruined his career and his life--as payback for doing what he was supposed to do. Tell the Truth. But doing that in Bushville could get you killed. Bush could just as well wait for the agent to get a haircut and shoot him in the barber chair. Or massacre his family when they were eating spaghetti on some Friday night. Gangsters one and all.
Bush is one sick motherfucker. He, Cheney, Powell, Rice, Wolferwizzz, Perle, RUMMY...all murderers and War Criminals. The Geneva convention cites "Crimes against the Peace" as the most heinous offense on the list. Hitler's Crime. The Crime of the indicted Nazis in Nuremburg. And I ACCUSE the Bush_Junta of those same crimes by attacking a sovereign nation, Iraq. A nation without the capability to defend itself in any way whatsoever against billions of dollars of "SHOCK AND AWE." Rummy was so proud of that! His neck should be stretched right along with Rove and the other perps.
Cuff em and stuff em. Take them to the Hague to sit on the prisoner's dock, wearing jailhouse jumpsuits, next to Milosevic.
