Nasty Letters To Crooked Politicians

As we enter a new era of politics, we hope to see that Obama has the courage to fight the policies that Progressives hate. Will he have the fortitude to turn the economic future of America to help the working man? Or will he turn out to be just a pawn of big money, as he seems to be right now.

The New York Times > Opinion >Lying Fucking Bush Fuckers Steal Our Everglades for Bucks

The New York Times > Opinion > Editorial: Two Bushes and the Everglades: "(F)our years ago, Congress set in motion the biggest and technologically most ambitious environmental initiative in the country's history: an $8 billion project to restore the Florida Everglades, which is dying for lack of fresh water. The idea is to capture much of Florida's abundant rainfall, which is now flushed out to sea, and reroute it to Everglades National Park through a system of reservoirs, levees and canals. It's a 50-50 deal, with the federal and state governments sharing costs and governance. One important reason for Washington's involvement is to make sure that Florida, whose politicians are notoriously vulnerable to special interests, does not hijack the project and give all the water to the developers and the agricultural interests, chiefly Big Sugar.

Just before Election Day, Gov. Jeb Bush sent a jolt through the environmental community by announcing a $1.5 billion plan to build eight major projects to expand water storage, improve water quality and restore water flows - with an ambitious deadline of 2010."
